Selling on Meesho needs a valid GSTIN. Here's what's required, whether you need more than one state, and how to register without an office.
Meesho is one of the easiest marketplaces to start on, but like any marketplace selling taxable goods, it expects a valid GSTIN. Here's what you actually need and how to get registered cleanly.
If you have a commercial address, use it. If you operate from home or want a more credible business address, a VPOB (virtual office) is valid for GST registration.
PAN, Aadhaar, a photo, bank proof, and the address proof set — a notarised NOC, registered Rent Agreement and a matching Utility Bill. See the complete documents checklist.
The REG-01 application is filed and, on approval, your GSTIN and REG-06 certificate are issued. Our in-house CA files this for you.
Enter the GSTIN in your Meesho seller account to activate selling.
If you move to fulfilment or store stock in other states, you'll register there too — see multi-state GST for e-commerce sellers. Each new state is a VPOB for the GSTIN plus an APOB for the warehouse.
Our in-house CA & CS set up your virtual office, VPOB and GST end to end — from ₹15,290/yr.
